Kansas Driver's License Renewals
- We are not able to renew CDLs, concealed carry restricted DLs, or registered offender driver's licenses.
- You will need to visit a full-service station.
- Issuance and renewal of ID cards.
- Duplicate Kansas licenses or ID cards
- Address update on your valid Kansas DL or ID
- Out-of-state DL or ID moving into Kansas
- To make sure you have the correct documentation before coming in, please check out the Driver's license brochure.
- The treasurer's office does not issue CDLs.
Real IDs
As of August 1, 2017, the State of Kansas has started issuing "Real ID" compliant Driver's licenses and IDs. For more information, please check out the driver's license brochure.
Please note: If your name is different from what is on your birth certificate or passport, we will also need proof of the name change. For example, a marriage license.
