Welcome to the Information Technology department for Brown County.

Technology has become a significant part of our lives, both personally and professionally. The ever-changing face of technology poses a significant challenge in our world, from the day-to-day struggles that users experience to the nefarious individuals attempting to steal our personal information for their gain.

It's also a big investment that we believe we should take full advantage of, and by doing so, we are able to serve the citizens of Brown County more efficiently.

The Information Technology department is tasked with maintaining the county's computer network, the county website, and the users' personal computers, which includes keeping software, hardware, antivirus, and anti-malware updated on all network devices. We work with various vendors to aid in the support of the programs used in the county offices.
